Deep Tissue Massage is a kind of curative massage which focuses on recovering the deep layers of muscular and peritoneal tissues. It is beneficial in cases of muscle contractions and tension of the body (neck - body - waist - shoulder).Some of the techniques are similar to the Swedesh Massage but the motion is slower and the pressure is deeper. Furthermore the therapist focuses on the parts of the body where there is pain and tension oppossed to the Swedish Massage that focuses on the whole body relaxation.
